City of Nagoya Subsidy Program for Promoting Clusters of ICT and Other Companies

The applications for FY2023 are no longer being accepted.

This program provides subsidies to ICT and other companies to help with costs for opening their first office in the city, or with costs for expanding their business in the city in case of a company that has already had an office in the city.

Types of Subsidies

First Office Opening

Business Expansion

Eligible Applicants Companies that are planning to open their first office in Nagoya Companies that opened their first office in Nagoya within the last 5 years
Other Requirements
  • Floor space of 30m2 or more
  • Two or more engineers and/or the like permanently stationed at the office opening
  • Increase its floor space by 30m2 or more to expand its business
  • Employ two or more new full-time engineers and/or the like
  • Invest 3 million yen or more in equipment, etc.
Eligible Costs

50% of the annual rent
50% of the costs for purchasing equipment, etc.

50% of the annual rent

1 million yen per new full-time employee

5 million yen

Application Deadline

One day before the day on which an office lease agreement is signed or equipment, etc. are purchased, whichever comes earlier
